We had a thunderstorm this morning! Crazy this time of year, pouring rain the works, only now it has become freezing rain and the roads look slick. We aren't going out today, I got up with a cold this morning and David isn't feeling very well. We decided to stay home with some quiet pursuits. I tried to sew, but I just felt so bad I went back to bed; even coffee didn't taste very good. When coffee doesn't taste good I am really sick!

David decided to put another warp on his inkle loom.

He got way too much help.

But it looks pretty good anyway.

With the kids all gone the cats are coming down here for company, and we have two on the bed right now, loafing with me, I am not up to doing much, and have had one episode of low blood sugar today which leaves me pretty shaky for a while. Presently I will go out and sew a little on the treadle, I am putting together the blocks for Tumbling Stars. but it is going to be very relaxed sewing. I am sure once the cats hear the treadle going they will be out there helping me!
