En Provence, pattern by Bonnie Hunter.

Well I don't have the laid out neatly as some people do, but so far I have kept up with all the clues. Just keep in mind that mine have already been dumped onto the floor once when the boys were playing hide and seek in my sewing corner upstairs in the dining room. Even with the lid closed and and something lying on top of the shoe box. This is what we expect and even enjoy, so no surprise there.

I decided to use greens for my neutrals, mainly because I had to buy neutrals. I never seem to have any on hand, but then I tend to use up my fabrics almost as fast as I buy them, my budget for fabrics isn't very big. I haven't ever done very much with green, it's not really one of my favorite colors, I am not sure why, unless it was all those hideous greens from the seventies that put me off greens. Now I am seeing a lot of pretty greens that I actually like and there will probably be more green quilts in the future. I have never used a lot of orange either, probably for the same reasons, and I may have to rethink that too.

This was last years mystery by Bonnie Hunter and I always spell the name wrong. Alliaterre. I am finally quilting it, I've had a lot of other ones that were in line before it, but it is still less than a year since I finished the top, so that's still pretty good for me. I can't wait to get it on my bed. We need it, David is feeling the cold worse this year, but I think that is a residue left from his surgery. He is doing very well though, and happy to be driving again.

There are only 6 more tops in the tub that I have down here, I have been able to move them into a smaller tub and can use the big tub for something else. That is major progress. I told Ambrosina that she might not have a legacy after all, but she didn't seem too worried.

I am loving my new computer, Windows 10 isn't a lot different than Windows 8 I am happy to say, so it wasn't hard to learn, I still have several programs to install, or is it aps now? Including my EQ7 which I need to finish the hexagon top I am working on, I need to see it graphed so I can square it up. I just have to go into the cold part of the basement to find it. Brr.

These are my storage tubs, they have to go over into the cold part of the basement too, I store things over there that I don't use very often. I am going to start with the 1st top in the smaller tub and work my way down, I hope to have them finished by Spring and then I can bring the ones that are up in the attic down. Always something to look forward to.

I can hear by the noise upstairs our little boys are home, I guess I should probably get busy on something, I've finished my coffee, it feels like a good day to drink hot coffee and sit under a quilt though, I might just get another cup.
