Here is Waddle auditioning for Happy's spot as first assistant. I have given up chasing him down, particularly as Happy doesn't come around as much. If she wants to keep her position, she's going to have to assert herself. Not that she doesn't now, in other areas. Maybe she doesn't want the job all that much.
This is the Grandmother's Flower Garden I am working by on by hand right now. The other one will wait until I get a new computer and get EQ7 installed on it so I can plan it out. I'm in no hurry I have plenty of ideas. This isn't exactly the traditional setting, I wanted to make them look like they are swirling, usually they are rows around the center of the same fabric each row, but I like this; two more blocks and I will have the first row done. I plan on doing a block a day and then knitting or crocheting after that. I like both and I haven't done any crocheting in a long time. When I get a computer I want to get a weaving program to make my warp a little easier to plan, but that will have to wait too. I want to get started winding my warp so when it gets warm enough I will be all set to dress the loom.
So with one thing and another I have plenty to plan for along with the everyday things, plenty to do. A kitty to cuddle, coffee to drink, kids to make noise. What could possibly be nicer?
